BA in Art History, Universidad Complutense, Madrid. Sofia has run two Art galleries “Arte in Europa” and “Arte-Express” (1983-85/ 1986-89); lectured and directed summer programmes for Syracuse University Centre in Spain (1992-2004); was head curator at the March Foundation Contemporary Art Museum in Palma de Mallorca (1995-997); has directed the ARCO Collectors Programme for eight years and was member of the Board of Friends of ARCO from 2000 to 2006. She was also involved with the Collectors Programme for Art Cologne Palma. Presently on the Board of the Jakober Foundation and Zuloaga Foundation. Sofia has been organizing cultural travel since 1984.

Julieta Rafecas
BA in Art History, Universidad Complutense, Madrid. Studied Art History and Decorative Arts at Christie´s London, followed by an MBA at the Instituto de Empresa, Madrid. Julieta commenced her professional career at Christie’s, leading to auction director for the annual Spanish Art auction in 2004 and 2005. In 2006 Julieta was co-director of the Marlborough Gallery in Madrid. Having collaborated in several ARCO Collectors Programmes, as well as in the organization of the Collectors Programme for Art Cologne Palma. She has published several articles and currently lectures at the Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid on the Masters Degree in Art Market. Julieta has been involved in specialized art tours since 2005.
